So back in the Bay I am, where its like 102 degree's! [that would be about 38.8 degrees for all you Celsius folks out there] Feels good to to be back home in the scorching heat. Well the second round of the CMRC Nationals was held last weekend at Wild Rose Mx Park, in Calgary, Alberta. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to ride the second round of the Royal Distributing Womens Nationals. I wish I could have been out there, the track looked really fun!! Lots of elevation changes and really kewl jumps! What's really neat is the fact that the track is actually owned by the city! They also have a BMX track on site as well. Maybe more cities all around the world should take note on how the city of Calgary and its motocross community work together; so that motorcycle and bicycle enthusiasts have a place to ride. Pretty kewl, eh!? The view is killer too!

Before we got to the track we went to the Calgary Zoo! It was so much fun! The animals were awesome...one day I think I will own a Gorilla! haha They were definately my fave!

Again, thanks to my moto family and friends for the continued support. To take a quote from a famous governor...
''I'll be back!''

Lets talk about knee's and how important they are. First off, I found out you cannot ride a motorcycle without both of your knee's being 100%. It doesn't matter what brace you use, how much you tape it up, or how many pain meds you take. You are not going to get two twenty-five minute moto's in. The quote 'No pain, no gain' does not work in this case. There was all kinds of pain in my knee, and trust me the only thing I gained was swelling. On that note, the first round of the CMRC Ladies Nationals was last weekend in Kamloops, BC at Whispering Pines Mx. The track looked awesome! I tried riding Saturday's practice, but it just didn't work out. After talking it over with Andy and Heidi @ KTM Canada I came to the brutal decision and not race. Its hard to accept, but I need to be 100% healthy. Maybe Mike, Ryan, and myself could all meet up and talk about our knees.

In the meantime while I was in BC, besides going to T-Ho's [Tim Hortons] I got to help out a friend of mine; Jamie, on her moto skills! You see, last year when I was in Kamloops doing a moto school for RTR Performance Jamie was injured and didn't get to participate. So this year I got to help her out. That was really kewl and it was great watching her improve.

Round 2 of the series is this weekend in Calgary, Alberta. We arrived in Calgary yesterday. The plane ride only took like 42 minutes and you know what the best part was? We got to ride on a big plane, not one of those propeller ones!! You know the Prop planes, the ones that you have to pull out your rosery the minute you sit down and start praying that everything goes well! I was so stoked that we flew on a big plane. Today we are going to the Calgary zoo! That should be really fun! My Dad said he might leave me there; he thinks I'll fit in just fine. lol On Friday we have an autograph signing at the Blackfoot Inn. So for any of you that are in Calgary area or even if you're not, hop on a plane or get in your car and come get an autograph from the KTM Canada/Royal Distributing Team!!
Thats all I have to say for now. Check back for more words photos!
Ps. Goodluck to my homegirls back home: Amira and Alaina, at your dance recital! Have fun!!

Rain, rain, and more rain. Did I mention rain? Thats all it has been doing in the ''sunshine'' state the past few weeks! I'm thinking of maybe taking up jet-skiing in my backyard. haha
Well, on the sunny side of things I went to KTM Canada to do some testing and a photoshoot. It was pretty kewl! The new KTM/Royal Distributing graphics look awesome on all the bikes. KTM will be lookin' so fresh and so clean, clean; and everybody be stylin' and profilin' in the new Thor gear! 10 days till the ''Loops.''
Let me add another ray of sunshine here, one of my homies and fellow KTM rider, Daniel McCullon, made it to the ''Big Show,'' a.K.a. Loretta Lynn's! This was his first attempt to qualify and he did it! Congrats to Daniel and his family! :) Great job!!
