Do you know the 'Moto' Muffin Man? |
|
What up world!! Its been awhile! I think I say this everytime I write since its been so long. I apologize for the delay, from the bottom of my heart (that was my old job talking for ya! Shout out to my GSI people! Hang in there!! ;) Well lets start fresh here, for those of you who don't know I have relocated for the summer, to the beautiful country of Canada...O Canada! I will be staying at MotoPark [www.motoparkracing.com] teaching Motocross Summer Camps! Pretty kewl, eh!? Anywhoo I arrived in Canada on Thursday. Iain gave me the grand tour of the facility, the place is awesome and it's only going to get better!! It's like what a country club is to a golfer, its paradise for a racer, beginner or pro! They have a full on Moto Hotel, a Pro Shop, Paintball field and the Moto Cafe'...which leads me to the Muffin Man .
Since I have satisifed my morning hunger with a 'Moto' Muffin, I thought it would be a great idea to sit down and have a chat with the brains of the operation...everybody put your hands together for Carl, The 'Moto' Muffin Man.....
So Carl how are you doing on this spectacular Sundeh'!?
Carl:Its a great day, we've had unbelieveable weather for both of our 2 day events (Motocross Cup Round 1 & 2) this year. Basically the track is great, thats very important of course, thats what its about.
I see you have been working hard on that sculpted body of yours, would you care to share some of your training secrets?
Carl:This is what our training program at MotoPark can do for you! (laughs) Well I raced motocross for 20 years, but that was in a different life and body. My body was never quite what you see here, so I just fake it now and then.
Okay so now for the main squeeze, how exactly did you come up with the idea of making the 'Moto' Muffin?
Carl:I tried the ones at McDonald's and I didnt like them because they didn't toast the muffin, and it didnt taste like real egg. So I thought if I used real ingredients and toasted the english muffin that it would make a good breakfast sandwich as they call them these days. The first 'Moto' Muffin was created here in the 70's, at MotoPark. We were trying to think of names for our food, and the riders all loved the new breakfast sandwich that I was making so I decided to call it the 'Moto Muffin'. And I licensed Walton to make them, but they tell me they don't make them as well as I do!

I bet they don't. You can't copy an original!
Thanks to Iain Hayden and the krew at MotoPark for welcoming me here!
Till next time...
21 dayss

I've seen it all, well sort of. There's more... |
|
So to say the last few weeks have been nothing less than exciting, would be a true understatement. Never a dull moment I tell ya, I dont even know where to start! I guess I'll go back to a few weeks ago when my friend Lindsey, her daughter, and myself went to the fair. You see I have been debating about getting a gold fish and lone behold they had the goldfish game at the fair. You know, the game where all the little fish bowls are set up next to each other and you have to throw a ping pong ball and sink it into one of the bowls. Well I was determined to make it and 4 dollas later I was the proud owner of my new buddy Persi. I was so stoked about this fish, you just have no idea! Sad thing is Persi didn't make it very long. I woke up the other morning and there he was floating at the top of the bowl. Maybe it was a conspiracy, because my friend Sadia's fish, Goldie, was flushed that day too. What do the carnival junkies put in the water??? [R.I.P. Pers and Goldie]. Meanwhile I'm debating as to if I want to get another fish...any ideas??
With not riding for a while, you start to take up other things to do. Besides working on my tan, I went roller skating! My friends talked me into it I swear! lol I was like c'mon this is going to be so lame! I hadn't roller skated since my elementary school use to have ''skate night'' once a month, back in the day! Talk about a throw back! So my friend Amanda talks me into going and honestly it was really fun! Her husband Bernard, can break it down on them skates. B-Man you deff make skating not gay! Amanda, he needs to teach us how to do the 'Cupid Shuffle' on them! hahaha
Last, but not least, I can say I have officially seen it all. A good friend of the family Jeff Hoover, (sorry for anyone that knows this dude lol just kidding Jeff) took us riding at this track in Lakeland. Thanks Marino, it was awesome!!! Well anyways where I was going with this is there was like an 11 foot alligator on the track. Yeah thats right, an alligator, on the track! Well so everything was fine, we were all riding around it and then Roy has this brilliant idea of trying to get it off the track. So he prods this alligator with a metal pole and the alligator bites down on the pole and starts doing the death roll. Meanwhile my Pops thinks he's Steve Irwin and tries to get a pic with him and the gator, like I said my life is anything but dull.
So thats about it, I'm going bowling on Friday for my friend Shannon's ''Make-Up Birthdate'' haha Don't worry Shannon this B-Day will be wayyy better than the other one! haha It will be really fun for sure, considering I am terrible @ bowling! Check back in next week, for another update
&&& I'm working on posting pics on the main page, but in the mean time for your viewing pleasure, click on the 'photos tab' and view the folder labeled ''Twenty-Ten'' (I have all the photos that correlate with these adventures in that folder)
Till next time
