Frid'Eh Update: 5/23/08
Bonjour!  Today we drove from Burlington, Vermont to St. Bruno, Canada.  We woke up at 6AM, but not without some excitement from our hotel neighbors!

What up Canada!

Turns out I think there was a Fiesta going on until the weee hours of the morning, then some freight train snoring from the room next door!  And yes the snoring was that loud that you could hear it through the walls from our room.  I can’t imagine how anyone in the same room could have slept!  Anyways, we drove to KTM Canada today, to set-up my bike and meet our extended KTM family.  Everyone was super nice and made us feel right at home!  Were going to the track tomorrow, make sure to check back in for another update and photos.  Laaaaaaate.

Thursd'Eh Update: 5/22/08

Alright, so my day started pretty early, lets try ah about 4:30 AM!  I wanted to workout before we left so off to the gym I went.  I had to get up super early because we had to leave the house by 7AM, in order to get to the Orlando airport for our flight that took off at 10AM.  We went from Orlando to Philly then to Burlington, Vermont.  So the excitement starts right when we get to the airport!  We get our bags checked in, everything’s going smoothly, were on time, great!  The next stop is the security place, you know where you wait in line forever, strip down, and send all your belongings

We need one in the Bay area!
through the metal detector.  I have an idea why don’t we just jump on the conveyor belt and send ourselves through the X-Ray machine, I’m sure it would save a lot of time! My Dad and I get through and then Mom comes along and the security guard stops her.  “Ma’am, is this your bag?” he says.  Now you know what’s coming next!  Okay so he zips open the bag and come to find out Mom has put my rear shock in her carry on bag! lol The security dude is now carrying this chunk of metal around asking the other security members if she can take it on the plane!  Meanwhile, I’m sitting there laughing, Dad is flipping out, and Mom, well she just has her head in the clouds!  Long story short, her carry on found a new home with the rest of the luggage that gets checked in before the flight.

When we arrived in Philly, I was so hungry (nothing new about that)!  As we were walking to our terminal I saw the light!  Au Bon Pain!  I have never been to one, but friends have told me that the place is killer.  We walked in and I was greeted by dozens and dozens of cookies, pastries, bagels, and muffins!  Yummmmy!  Unfortunately, I had to stop drooling over the baked goods and find something healthy to eat.  I ended up getting soup and man it was super good!  Our plane left Philly at about 2:30 PM and we arrived in Burlington around 3:30.  We picked up our bags and rental car, a sweet Ford Taurus!  Yes, I know lame!  I tried talking my Dad into maybe stepping it up a bit, you know an Escalade or something!  He said no! I could eat the whole shelf! I'm not even kidding!
looks pretty kewl.  Kind of old fashioned looking town, but we didn’t drive through the heart of the city.  All I know is that the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory is here and we will be stopping there on the way home!!  Talk to everyone tomorrow.  I’m gonna dip set out and go grab some dinner.  Laaaaaaaaaaate

What up!!  As you may or may not know, I've put scraping bark off of trees on hold for a bit.  I am going to Canada to compete in the CMRC Ladies Motocross Nationals! I will be riding for KTM/Royal Distributing.  The first round is this weekend at Ste.-Julie in Quebec.  I will try to update my site each day.  Big shout out to KTM Canada, KTM USA,  Andy White, Chuck Ware, Jess, and Edwin for making this all possible!   Stay tuned and check back for updates, eh'!?

P.S. Also, thanks to Kirt Lynch @ Atlantic Moto for introducing me to the KTM Family.
